So, I have this idea about the Gospel of Jesus:
That He absolutely did "rise after three days," but like as a book. Like, in us, when we started to tell the story. "The body of Christ." Like, what is the Gospel, it's the story of what Jesus taught and did, about God coming to Earth. Walk the extra mile with a child 👣,
A bedrock, an anchor, a church bell ringing across time! Not armed, not as a king; as a teacher, dying side-saddle on a donkey in pre-history, so we'd know. So then He goes, but we start telling the story. He came right back as us, in that way, as this story we tell and these lessons. "The body of Christ." So in this one way, the Second Coming already happened a few days later. |
Why worry, then? Why bonk heads?
If you really believe that, that this is God's daily bread, that "it is accomplished", you can react to it all very differently. As an opportunity to be creative, let's say.
